Bottle top Mural

We have finally started our bottle top mural project. The children painted the background today. Watch this space for more updates.

Room 10 buddies

The Room 5 children enjoyed being big buddies for the new entrant children in Room 10. They played Maths games together.

Swimming

We might think it is cold, but the children are loving using the school pool. It is great to watch them having fun in the water.

Shared lunch

What a feast! The children had a great shared lunch. Thank you for all the wonderful food you provided for the children to share.

The meteorologist

The children enjoyed learning more about natural weather disasters from Mark.

They had plenty of questions to ask him.

Weather disaster questions.

In preparation for our visit from the meteorologist on Friday, the children shared their questions for show and tell today. They wrote them out and we have put them up for everyone to read. If the children find an answer to a question in a book or on the internet they can write up the answer on a post-it-note and put it on the question.

Amazing Aimee

Congratulations to Aimee who received the Principals certificate at full school assembly. Well done Aimee, you are a star!

PE

This week we used the skipping ropes to help us to practise our jumping skills, just like boxers!

GAFE accounts

The children are becoming more confident about logging into their GAFE accounts. We used the laptops and wrote about our memories of being in R5.
