PE - Throwing and catching skills

We worked with a buddy to practice throwing and catching skills. 

Making music

We all got to play three different untuned percussion instruments, trying to keep the beat in time with the music. 

Repeating patterns

We used different materials to make repeating patterns. 

Elio"s birthday

We had a birthday treat to celebrate Elios birthday on Sunday. 

PE in the hall.

The children had great fun playing two games in the hall for P E today. They played Freeze and Vegetable soup. 

Superstar Alexis

Alexis was the Room 5 superstar, receiving the Principals certificate at full school assembly today. Well done Alexis, well deserved. 

Fluro Friday

Fun dressing up in fluro as part of out Travelwise week. 

I pads

The Y2 classes are trialling using iPads in class. We have 5 iPads to share between the 4 classes. Today Room 5 used 4 spelling programmes at Reading time. 

Art

Printing with sponges, our backgrounds for our animal pictures. 

Still life art

Mrs Engleback took the class for a still life art drawing class. The children had great fun and produced some cool pictures. 

Superstar Sienna

Well done to Sienna, she received the Principals certificate at full school assembly today. Great job. 

Discovery centre
