Endangered animals

The children have been researching why some animals are endangered. They used the information to create posters. As the children finish them I am putting their posters up in the corridor. Come and check them out. 

Posters

As part of our topic work the

children have been working on posters about endangered animals to share an important message. 

Net books

The children worked in twos using the net books to write information reports about endangered animals. 

Show and tell

The children brought in things which interest them to share with the class. The talker had to share facts and the listener had to make eye contact and ask interesting questions. 

PE netball shooting skills

We were seeing how many goals we could shoot. 

Maths - equal sharing.

The children have been learning to equally share objects as an introduction to division. They have also been learning how to use the division sign as they write the number story. 

Soccer skills

Today the Football Kingz came and did some soccer skills games with us. It was great fun. 

The Habitat Song

The children all looked fantastic today performing the habitat song. Well done Room 5. 

Liam's success

Well done Liam, a hard working, motivated learner who received the Principals certificate at full school assembly today. 

The Zoo!

We finally got to go to the zoo! The children were really excited and had great  fun looking at all the animals and learning more about their habitats. Thank you to our wonderful parent helpers.
