Birthday girls.

We celebrated a few birthdays this week. Alexia made chocolate treats for us all to celebrate her birthday. They were yum! 

Taking Action!

Room 5 walked down to Rothesay Beach to take action and do a beach clean up. We found heaps of rubbish, most of it plastic. 

We also saw a few living thins in their natural habitat. 

Art colour mixing

The children mixed blue and yellow paint to create a sea green. This will form the background for our latest creations. 

The Dunk Tank

Many thanks (I think!) to all the parents who helped to run our class stall, the Dunk Tank at the BBS gala today. It was a great success and lovely to see lots of R5 children and parents watching me get soaked! Thank you Jake for coming and joining me! 

Campbell also got revenge on his Mum and brother, dunking Mrs Bibbie and Benjamin.

Congratulations to George - he was awarded the Principals certificate at full school assembly. Great job. 

OE day and sleepover

The children have done some amazing writing about both OE day and sleepover this week. The children's have published some of their writing. Pop into R5 to see some of our work.

Maori

Mrs Coulam came to R5 to take the class for Maori today. They had great fun singing songs and playing games in Maori.
